Melaye Mocks APC on Election Law

Former lawmaker Senator Dino Melaye has launched a scathing attack on the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its stance against the mandatory real-time electronic transmission of election results. Melaye described the ruling party’s opposition to technological reforms as a profound sign of insecurity, arguing that a party controlling 31 states should not fear a transparent electoral process.

Taking to social media, Melaye highlighted the irony of the APC utilizing electronic registration for its own internal membership drives while simultaneously resisting similar technology to secure national elections.
