On Tuesday and Wednesday, a long list of states—including Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Edo, Ekiti, Ondo, Imo, Delta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and Rivers—are at risk of lightning and light showers. By Thursday, this activity is expected to become more isolated, primarily affecting the coastal fringes of Bayelsa and Cross River.

Large volumes of dust particles are currently suspended in the atmosphere, posing a direct threat to individuals with respiratory vulnerabilities.
