Tinubu Commissions Key Infrastructure in Kebbi

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Birnin Kebbi, the capital of Kebbi State, on a one-day official visit to inaugurate a series of transformative infrastructure projects aimed at boosting administrative efficiency and economic growth. Upon his arrival at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, the President was received by a high-level delegation, including state governors and traditional leaders, highlighting the significance of the visit to the region.

The centerpiece of the visit was the commissioning of the newly constructed Kebbi State Secretariat Complex. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to centralize government ministries, departments, and agencies, providing a conducive working environment intended to improve public service delivery and streamline administrative processes across the state.

Following the inauguration of the secretariat, President Tinubu proceeded to commission the Birnin Kebbi ultra-modern motor park. This upgraded transportation hub is expected to catalyze local commerce, organize interstate travel, and improve the overall logistics chain within the state capital and surrounding areas.

These projects reflect the infrastructure-driven development agenda of the Kebbi State government, aimed at fostering institutional efficiency and enhancing the state’s economic attractiveness. The President’s visit coincides with the 61st edition of the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival. Tinubu is scheduled to officially declare the festival open, participating in one of Nigeria’s most prominent cultural tourism events, which draws thousands of visitors to the riverside town of Argungu.
