Layal Jade Tinubu, the wife of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, has publicly disclosed the surprising story of how she first met her husband: on the social media platform, Facebook.
Dependable NG reports that the revelation was made in a recent video broadcast released as part of the celebrations for Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday. Layal, who is a Nigerian-Lebanese lawyer and entrepreneur, explained that their relationship began after an initial encounter online.
Recounting the moment that first drew her to him, Layal explained, “We met on Facebook. I wouldn’t really say there was a pickup line per se. But it was more of how he carried himself that drew me to him.”
She described her husband’s demeanor as a compelling mix of confidence and ease. “He was confident yet easy-going. And he has this opulent charm like he didn’t really need to try,” she added.
Layal and Seyi Tinubu were married in 2016 and the couple is now blessed with children, having started their journey together from a simple connection on social media.
