Filmmaker Stanley Ontop has reacted with defiance to the defamation petition filed against him by Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard. The legal document, submitted to the Delta State Police Command, alleges a sustained campaign of malicious falsehoods against the actor, prompting Ontop to publicly dismiss the threat of legal action.
Taking to Instagram, Ontop stated he is unfazed by the move and is actively awaiting an official invitation from the police to address the accusations. He asserted his readiness to meet Leonard in court, declaring that he would not be intimidated by the actor’s legal maneuver.
The filmmaker accompanied his response with taunting remarks, signaling that the confrontation between the two industry figures is far from over. Ontop indicated that he plans to vigorously defend himself against the claims, which Leonard alleges have damaged his reputation and caused a loss of earnings over the past two years.
