Sokoto Approves Early Salaries for Ramadan

Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu has authorized the early disbursement of February salaries to all state workers, aimed at providing financial relief ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. According to a statement released on Thursday by the Director General of Media and Publicity, Abubakar Bawa, the payments are scheduled to begin on Friday, February 13, 2026.

This directive covers a wide array of public sector employees, including those in the State Civil Service, all Local Government Councils, the Local Government Education Authority, and pensioners across the state.
