Super Eagles Soar: Nigeria Rises Four Spots in New FIFA Global Ranking

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have recorded a significant leap in the latest men’s rankings released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) on Friday, climbing four positions globally.

Dependable NG reports that the team, coached by Eric Chelle, moved from the 45th to the 41st position in the world standings. This jump also propelled the Super Eagles into the top five nations in Africa.

The three-time African champions are now ranked fifth on the continent, trailing only Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, and Algeria.

Nigeria’s improved standing follows their recent successful run, where the Super Eagles secured victories in their last two fixtures against the Crocodiles of Lesotho and the Squirrels of Benin Republic.
